Chef Teague is an accomplished chef and travel enthusiast who loves sharing the stories of his travels through his food. From his native city of Chicago to Yosemite, Alaska, Big Sky, Aspen, Southeast Asia, and beyond, Alex’s career and love of travel have taken him across the globe. These terrains, cuisines, and cultures have each helped inform his eclectic culinary style, and he has especially fond memories of his time in Southeast Asia. Travels to Scandinavia, working as the sous chef under English Master Chef Stephen Dowe at Perry Street Brasserie, and coordinating menus using on-site organic gardens and seafood straight off the docks at Alaska’s exclusive Stillpoint Lodge have also shaped his cooking, along with his training in classical French cuisine at Chicago’s prestigious Kendall College of Culinary Arts.

Chef Teague has cooked for celebrities, professional athletes, politicians, and titans of industry. He spent several years as a household private chef for the owners of a professional sports team, where throwing elaborate dinner parties was all in a day’s work. He has been featured in Voyage LA, Collabs, Shout-Out, and ‘Bold Journey’.

Meanwhile, he continues to explore the native foods of Alaska, where he currently summers. In the off-season, Chef Teague spends time in Chicago, Malibu, Big Sky, Montana, and abroad. He enjoys heading wherever his clients wish to throw high-end dinner parties and utilize his culinary skills, while picking up new techniques and ingredients along the way.
